Participants are natural gas producers, pipeline companies, investor owned distribution companies, municipal utilities, gas industry vendors, and similar energy organizations that are interested in GTI's program. GTI currently has about 175 participants in the membership program.

Through the period of the FERC settlement, GTI membership programs have not been fully implemented or active. However, GTI recognizes the value of continued industry involvement and connection with GTI RD&D programs and is assessing continued membership programs for 2006 and beyond.
